Work personally with me as your EDE trainer to Build Your Skills and  Create Better Habits for improved patient care with people living with dementia

While new skills are introduced through an initial training,  performing them well and consistently requires an expanded level of practice. Just like playing a sport takes drilling and rehearsal for improvement, so does guided  repetition change the way we interact with out patients.
Working with the EDE trainer can be transformational.

Maybe you encounter a certain situation repeatedly with one patient which negatively impacts your sessions? Maybe you struggle designing or  planning activities toward achieving the established rehab goals? Maybe you are challenged in how to appropriately document what you are actually doing when billing as medically necessary services?
Working with the EDE! trainer can provide input to all of these issues.

Being inspired is important, but actually making adjustments and doing things differently is what creates change. Working with theEDE! trainer will transition your practice to the next level of habitually doing patient care with this better appraoch using new skills and shifting away from what was routinely done previously.

The Engaging Dementia Effectively trainer uses the Positive Approach® to Care  model and skills coupled with 30+ years of therapy experience  to guide and empower learners through skill building and development. Sessions can be done virtually, one-on-one, or in small groups.

I particularly desire to help therapists effectively rehab patients living with dementia!

My name is Cindy Keehn. I have practiced physical therapy for 30+ years with the past 15 focusing on geriatrics in skilled nursing. I know desperately the patients living with dementia  need our skills to enhance their quality of life, yet we encounter so many challenges inherent in their care. I have seen the benefit of the Positive Approach to Care model. I am passionate to share this with rehab and other healthcare professionals through Engaging Dementia Effectively, as well as equip families and caregivers within the home.
